Global outlook is an extremely important aspect of a Stephen Perse education and an initiative, such as our collaboration with GG (Goel Ganga) International School, makes it possible for young learners to appreciate the importance of being globally connected and of the ways in which this can be achieved.
Following on from our stimulating collaborative day at Bletchley Park and as past of our WW2 topic, Junior School Year 6 pupils were evacuated to Dame Bradbury's in Saffron Walden to spend time with their counterparts at Dame B’s on Tuesday 21 February.
On Tuesday 21 February sixteen teams, consisting of Year 4 pupils from both the Junior School and Dame Bradbury’s, competed for consideration as astronauts on a forthcoming mission to the moon. Each activity was designed to prepare them for the mission and earned them points towards a final score, which would determine whether they had what it takes to be a space shuttle crew.
