In addition to studying subjects that eventually lead to GCSE or IGCSE qualifications you'll take a non-examined core programme – gaining a true breadth of knowledge and skills.

Elements of the non-examined curriculum include:

Critical thinking – a bespoke course in Years 9 – 11 devised by our Theory of Knowledge Co-ordinator.

Enrichment  – you can compile your own individual programme of courses from a menu of enrichment activities to build a wide portfolio of knowledge, skills and interest.

There are also some compulsory courses including life skills, presentation skills, economic and financial literacy and current affairs.

Inspire and Guide – The emphasis of Inspire and Guide is on personal development, self-reflection, acquiring key skills and making good decisions with a firm focus on the future.

A compulsory course of Personal, Social and Health Education is also delivered as part of  Inspire and Guide lessons, as well as a Citizenship programme.
