  • Alumna fundraising for Hearts Milk Bank

    Alumna Natalie Shenker (left 1996) is a gifted medic and innovative researcher, who set up Hearts Milk Bank, a charity supplying donated breast milk, while also researching the health impacts of breastfeeding on mothers.  Natalie and her team are fundraising for a Milk Mobile to transport frozen milk to hospitals over long distances, and for equipment so her team can start recruiting milk samples into the research biobank from over 20,000 women across the country.

  • Gem Bowes runs Set Construction workshop

    Alumna Gem Bowes (Left SPF 2009) went on to Royal Central School of Speech and Drama (CCSD) in London to do Set Construction, and today came back to run a workshop on set design with a group of our Yr9 set designers, who are working on the YR7 production of 'Emil and the Detectives' which will be performed in July.

  • First solo British woman to complete the Race Across America (RAAM)

    Alumna and ultra-cyclist Shusanah Pillinger, (left school in 1994) has become the first solo British woman to complete the Race Across America. Shusanah completed the 3,004-mile cycle from California to Maryland in 12 days, nine hours and 14 minutes.
