Senior School students took part in a hypothetical urban development project on Wednesday 8 November.
Year 10 were put into groups of 5 and they had to pitch ideas to a panel of planners for a new development proposal for Lammas Land in Newnham, Cambridge.
The judges and teachers listened to 20 imaginative pitches in a first round of heats and then four went forward towards a nail-biting final.
There were some really fantastic designs including a food cube, plenty of new cafes, and special fitness and exercise areas. One group even converted the whole of Lammas Land and Sheep's Green into a fun park with white water rafting on the River Cam!
It was an incredible event - well done to all our Year 10s for envisioning such inventive and ambitious projects.
