Dame Bradbury's enjoyed a fundraising day in aid of The Dogs Trust.
How many times can you wag your tail in 30 seconds? Fun and fundraising were the order of the day recently when Player House raised money for its chosen charity, The Dogs Trust. Dressed in yellow (the colour of the charity and of Player), and outside in the welcome Spring sunshine, the children took part in a range of activities from leading each other around a 'doggy agility course' to guessing the number of dog treats in a jar and, of course, pinning the tail on the dog.
A photo competition invited dog lovers to submit a portrait photo of themselves looking as much as possible like their pampered pooches and the Prep children got the chance to dance to a dog-inspired playlist in the Theatre at lunchtime. All this activity resulted in an astounding £740 being raised; a record for our house fundraising days. Huge thanks go to everyone who donated, organised or joined in with the day and especially to Player House Captains Scarlett, Jake and Dylan for their commitment and leadership.
