138th Birthday Celebration

Published on 16/01/19

The Foundation's tradition of being presented with a blue amaryllis continued for the 138th birthday of the Foundation.

Rosemary Tice (Geography and Biology teacher, 1965-1990), marked the 138th birthday of the Foundation on 17 January with the traditional gift of a blue hyacinth, presented to Tricia Kelleher, Principal of the Stephen Perse Foundation, and Melissa Santiago-Val, Alumni Relations Officer.

This tradition is part of our history and has taken place every year since 1967, and has been passed from Miss Scott (Headmistress until 1967) who started the tradition on her retirement, then to Miss Graham-Campbell and then to Miss Tice.
