Get involved
This year, we’ve already run our first AntiReunion, designed for all of you who like a more informal event, and 100 former students turned up for cava, canapés and cupcakes, plus tours of all the new facilities. We’re planning other informal events but there are lots of other ways to stay in touch. Here are 10 to get you started – we hope at least one option appeals.
- Come to our annual reunion on 16 June 2012.
- Update us on your personal details – marriage, births, deaths, changes of postal and e-mail addresses.
- Find us on Facebook, where we share news, events and photos – and you could find old friends. You must be 18 or older to be a friend (we’ve already got 720 and counting). Our profile name is Ali Lumnae.
- Help us to research your year group and track down missing members – we have a lot of gaps to fill in.
- Organise an event and let us know. We’ll spread the word on your behalf.
- Join a networking group and improve your contacts in your industry or sector. We already have groups covering agriculture, architecture, business management, charity, education, engineering, financial services, government, IT, law, medicine, religion, science, travel and (for all of you who don't fall into any obvious category) other. We're looking to set up more. You can also volunteer to act as a mentor to current students or give them a talk about your work and career.
- E-mail us with news for this site and our newsletter.
- Go to one of the Foundation’s fund-raisers – take a look at the PFA for more details.
- Support our bursaries and hardship fund, so other people can enjoy the advantages of a Stephen Perse Foundation education. In the current climate, our students need your help more than ever – go to Funding the future to find out more.
- Get in touch with us if you’d like to know more about any of this or to share ideas and experiences. E-mail Melisaa Santiago-Val at alumnirelations@stephenperse.com
